TORRANCE, CA – Government Fleet Magazine has introduced a new suite of online tools for public sector fleet managers called Fleet Toolbox. With the array of challenges facing public sector fleet operations today, from budget reductions and staff furloughs to concerns about privatization and fuel costs, Government Fleet Magazine has designed a multi-part solution.

To get started, fleet managers can check out the free fleetSHARE, which gives users access to a closed fleet-manager-only social network and fleetDOCS, hundreds of free document templates for things such as RFPs, job specs, manuals, and more.

Fleet Toolbox has three levels of membership, one free, called Lite, and two paid, Premium and Professional. The free Lite level gives access to fleetSHARE and fleetDOCS. The other two levels of access provide a number of tools for fleet managers, such as for benchmarking against other fleets, vehicle replacement comparison calculators, a line item budget tool, a downtime standards calculator, and more.
