TORRANCE, CA - Government Fleet has become as Associate Member of the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association (MEMA).
The Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association was established in 1952. Its mission is to improve the quality of service in the public and private fleet sector by providing a forum for the free exchange of experience, technical knowledge, ideas, and opinions that enhance the delivery of public services and promote the personal and professional growth of our members. MEMA serves public safety by helping to ensure environmentally responsible, safe, and efficient stationary and mobile systems are at work to better serve employers and the public.
Government Fleet's membership "allows both agencies to reach out to local and global fleets across the country to disseminate information, methodologies, and products to agencies that improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity," according to Rick Longobart, MEMA president and facilities and fleet manager for the City of Santa Ana, Calif.
"We are excited about working with MEMA to promote innovative ideas and best practices among public sector fleets in the Southern California area," said Eric Bearly, GF associate publisher.
