AUBURN HILLS, MI — Attendees to NAFA's Law Enforcement Group Conference, held August 14-18 in Las Vegas, will get the first opportunity to drive the police packaged Dodge Magnum at the DaimlerChrysler-sponsored Ride and Drive on Saturday, August 14. They will be able to view the vehicle at the Police Fleet Information Exposition, August 15 and 16. It will be the first public showing of the vehicle. Dodge is returning to the law enforcement market with a new rear-wheel-drive Dodge Magnum police car powered by the HEMI V-8 engine. Dodge engineers integrated specific law-enforcement vehicle features and functionality into the original design of the Dodge Magnum, minimizing the need for aftermarket retrofits. The 2005 Dodge Magnum SXT model will be available this fall to law-enforcement agencies for special service use. The 2006 Dodge Magnum with a special police package will be available in the fourth quarter of 2005.
