SEARCHBEL AIR, MD - In efforts to minimize "redundant personnel and services," centralizing and outsourcing the fleet management or motor pool services for all county equipment and vehicles was strongly suggested, according to The Dagger.
BEL AIR, MD - Centralizing fleet was one item on a list of cost-cutting strategies recently identified by the Harford County Financial Plan Advisory Committee, according to The Dagger.
In a letter to The Dagger, committee members Tony Passaro of the Bel Air TEA Party Patriots and Roy Whitley of Marylanders for Fair Property Taxation said a number of areas were addressed in a report furnished to the committee.
Among these were Fleet Management and Motor Pool, which currently provide similar services to the county, the members wrote.
