CHATTANOOGA, TN - The City of Chattanooga and Hamilton County law enforcement departments were each presented with two custom-made Jetta SportWagen TDI vehicles by Volkswagen of America, Inc., according to a release from the automaker.
Engineers and designers overhauled the white Jetta SportWagen vehicles to incorporate features that would help the police. The sport styling body package includes a rear spoiler and chrome exhaust tips.

Under the hood, the vehicle offers a 2.0L TDI clean diesel four-cylinder engine. The engine achieves a 236 ft.-lbs. of torque through its turbo diesel engine and up to 42 miles per gallon on the highway.
The Jetta SportWagens also feature 225/40 18-in. Goodyear Eagle GT All Season tires mounted over Volkswagen's 18-inch Goal wheel package.
The interior includes features needed for Community Policing activities. FMS Automotive technicians created custom-built enclosures and mounts to hold communications and emergency lighting gear in place.
