CCG/FASTER Gears Up for 21st National Conference
NORFOLK, VA – Fleet professionals will convene for the 21st CCG/FASTER Annual National Conference on Oct. 19 to 22 at the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach, Va.

“In an increasing complex world where even intelligence is being programmed, it is easy to forget that it is still people with passion that make the difference,” said Chairman of the Board Pam Nelson. With the theme, “High Tech, High Touch,” the conference will feature 24 sessions dedicated to technologies that work and their actual application in the real world.
Keynote speakers include Joe Healey, CEO of CCG Systems, Inc.; Frank Morgan, deputy director of Maintenance Operations at the City of Fremont, Calif.; Randy Owen, senior VP of Mercury & Associates in Gaithersburg, Md.; and Bill Strickland, CEO of Manchester Bidwell in Pittsburgh, Pa.
In conjunction with the conference, the American Public Works Association (APWA) will offer its exam for Certified Public Fleet Professional (CPFP). Intended for the seasoned public fleet professionals and those interested in seeking credentials to advance their career, the certification aims to promote excellence in fleet management through knowledge and practice advancement. The certification exam will take place on Oct. 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Cape Lookout room of the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel. Registrations for this exam is closed.
