Calif. Sheriffs Use Drone to Bust Illegal Casino

The Alameda County Sheriff's Department shut down an illegal casino with help from a drone. When officers arrived at the scene, they found slot machines in a truck at a home in San Leandro, according to KRON 4.

Sgt. Ray Kelly told KRON 4 that, before adopting drones, the department would use helicopters for high-risk operations like this. Using a drone continues to keep deputies safe with an aerial view while saving taxpayers thousands of dollars.
