SACRAMENTO, CA – The California Hybrid Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) will launch a new $1.9 million San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District HVIP “plus-up” project in July. The HVIP provides partial funding for truck and bus fleets that purchase and operate the vehicles in the State of California. The “plus-up” project will provide additional funding for HVIP vouchers for vehicles operating 100% of the time in the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District.

Although the program launches in July, fleets can take out HVIP vouchers now and receive the additional voucher funding as long as redemption occurs after July 15.
