Blytheville Police Considers Fuel Card System to Reduce Costs
The City of Blytheville, Ark., is having supply problems with its fuel distributor, leading police officers to purchase gasoline at local gas stations, according to the Blytheville Courier News.
The City of Blytheville, Ark., police department is considering going to a fuel card system in order to reduce fuel costs and better track fuel purchases, the Blytheville Courier News reported
The PD, like all city departments, gets its fuel at the Public Works yard. However, fuel is not always available there, leading officers to purchase gasoline at local gas stations. The City’s fuel distributor is having problems supplying bulk fuel, according to the news source.
