Yavapai County, Ariz., has hired Michael Carr as the new director of fleet management. The fleet consists of nearly 600 vehicles and other equipment.
Carr was previously at the City of Prescott, Ariz., where he was the fleet and facilities manager. While at the City of Prescott, he increased customer satisfaction, based on satisfaction surveys, and developed a fleet asset review board to increase transparency.
“I am really looking forward to working with the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors and the new opportunities this position brings. Yavapai County Fleet Management has been well run and I hope to continue the quality work that this department is known for,” Carr said in a statement.
Madison names Rachel Darken as fleet service superintendent, citing her leadership in fleet optimization, electrification efforts, and workforce development initiatives.
