The American Public Works Association (APWA) and the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association (MEMA) signed a collaborative agreement to work together in the coming year.

APWA and MEMA, through this agreement, seek to expand their reach in the equipment maintenance and fleet markets and provide greater value, education, certification, and opportunity to their members and customers by sharing public fleet and equipment maintenance knowledge and resources.

APWA and MEMA both offer public fleet resources, education, and expertise to fleet professionals, and through this collaboration APWA and MEMA agree to cross-promote resources and education that help improve municipal fleet operations. A primary focus of the collaboration will include increasing awareness and visibility of APWA's Certified Public Fleet Professional program and those certified through the program.
