Altech-Eco Receives CARB Certification for F-250/350 CNG Conversion System
Altech-Eco Corporation has obtained certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for its compressed natural gas dedicated conversion system for the 2014 Ford 6.2L V-8 F-250/350 pickups.
Altech-Eco Corporation, a Ford qualified vehicle modifier (QVM), has obtained certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for its compressed natural gas (CNG) dedicated conversion system for the 2014 Ford 6.2L V-8 F-250/350 pickups with Ford-supplied CNG gaseous prepped engine. The dedicated version converts the vehicle to operate 100% on CNG.
Altech-Eco’s integrated systems are designed in collaboration with a Ford-approved QCM (qualified calibration modifier) for real-fleet applications. Existing Ford warranty remains intact along with additional Altech-Eco CNG systems warranty.
Also available from Altech-Eco are EPA-certified CNG systems for the 2014/2015 F-250/350 6.2L, 2014/2015 Transit Connect 2.5L, and 2014 F-150 3.7L as bi-fuel or dedicated CNG.
The cost of installation is approximately $8,000, varying depending on tank size. For more information, click here.
