In early May, Government Fleet staff headed out to six facilities in the Southern California area to promote the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX) in San Diego and to show GFX attendees the workings of some local fleets. The City of Orange, Calif., has a fleet of 418 units and staff of nine employees. Equipment Maintenance Superintendent Keith Marian gave a tour of the facility. Government Fleet Magazine took a tour of several fleet maintenance facilities of the City of Long Beach, Calif. The municipality is now the sixth largest in the state with a population just under 470,000.
