WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is using a new motor pool management system to automate reservations for its fleet of vehicles at its 38-acre headquarters in Washington D.C. DHS is using the FleetCommander system to replace the use of paper logs, emails, and phone calls to receive reservations and handle dispatching vehicles.

“We can't wait to get the automated system in here,” said DHS’ Fleet Manager Ron Roberson. “We'll get instant utilization reports. And we're hoping word will spread and we will be able to bring the solution to our other facilities.”
