NORTH CHESTERFIELD, VA – Virginia State Police is transitioning from Ford Crown Victorias to Ford Police Interceptors with the order of 144 Police Interceptors, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. State police has about 1,110 Crown Victorias on the road, and the department currently expects to replace them all with Interceptors.
