NASHVILLE, TN – Mayor Karl Dean wants Nashville's fleet cut by 10 percent to save money. That means the city will have to park nearly 400 vehicles. The police department will be the hardest-hit department. But city leaders said the cut won’t come at the expense of public safety, according to www.newschannel5.com.

Every city department will have to find a way to do more with less. The list of vehicles includes just about anything that uses gasoline even golf carts. The Tennessee State Fair has nearly a dozen. Also, department heads have been ordered to cut their fleets by 10 percent and most are complying.
