NAPA, CA – The City of Napa’s fleet has been certified as a Model Pollution Prevention Facility by the Cal-EPA, for running an environmentally friendly set of vehicles, according to

According to Chris Burgeson, Napa’s fleet manager, the city is doing everything possible to prevent pollution. Crews have been following strict guidelines to ensure that excess pollution isn’t being released into the air or seeped into the ground through old leaky car batteries.

Napa joins Contra Costa County’s fleet as the only two municipalities in the Bay Area to currently carry the distinction.
