The City of Memphis, Tenn., is updating its written policies on fuel use and installing devices into its city vehicles to track fuel use after two city employees were fired for filling up personal vehicles at city-owned gas pumps, reported WREG.

The city conducted an internal investigation into its fuel operations and found that it did not have sufficient security at all of its fueling stations. Although some pumps automatically tracked fuel usage, others depended on manual logs, and not all manual logs were kept up to date.
