Brian Haskins, fleet services supervisor for the City of Culver City, Calif., died on Jan. 19 following a motorcycle accident. Haskins had worked at the city fleet for more than 13 years.

Haskins was actively involved in local technical training programs and the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association.

“Brian was a wonderful person always willing to assist others with whatever they needed both professionally and personally. He was the ‘calm in the forest fire’ and was outstanding with people,” said Paul Condran, fleet services manager for the City of Culver City.

Haskins is survived by his wife Maureen, his mother, and four children. His funeral will take place Feb. 6 in Los Angeles.

His colleagues have started a GoFundMe page to assist the family.
