Boat manufacturer VOLTARI has launched the Patrol 26 RIB — an electric patrol boat designed for government, military, and security applications. The Patrol 26 RIB, featuring trimmable outdrive, contra-rotating propellers, and a dual-prop military-grade drive, is designed to deliver reliable performance with zero noise pollution and emissions.
A Shift for Electric Vessels in Extra-Rugged Conditions
Now fully in production, ISED Canada has acquired a Patrol 26 CC for delivery to the Canadian Coast Guard in December for testing in the Pacific Ocean off British Columbia. Additionally, a naval defense contractor is demoing the Patrol 26 Pilot and has ordered two units for a U.S. Navy security contract in San Diego.
Powered by 740 HP, the Patrol 26 RIB is designed with a lightweight carbon fiber hull and a 24-degree deadrise deep-V oceangoing design. The Patrol 26 RIB is also equipped with shock suspension seating, ensuring crew comfort during demanding missions.

Combing High Speed and Minimal Environmental Impact
For enhanced situational awareness in low-light conditions, it features a fixed-mount FLIR thermal night vision camera. Additionally, a secure dry storage area near the helm is designed to accommodate marine flares as well as both lethal and non-lethal weapons.
Operators seeking additional protection from the elements can upgrade to the Patrol 26 Pilot, which features climate control and can comfortably accommodate up to four passengers. When not in use, the front mounting rear jockey seats can be easily folded up, maximizing space for movement and enhancing the overall experience on the water.
Patrol 26 RIB Performance Features Include:
Top speed of over 55 MPH
Cruise speed of 20-30 MPH
Range of up to 100 miles at idle or 30 miles at 25 MPH cruise speed
Peak power of 550 kW, continuous power at 425 kW
This launch comes on the heels of the transition of VOLTARI’s flagship model, the VOLTARI 260, from pre-order to full production, which is now available with a delivery time of 3-4 months.
Last year, the VOLTARI 260 made history by completing the first and longest open-ocean journey for an electric vehicle, crossing the Gulf Stream from Key Largo, Florida, to Bimini, Bahamas, all on a single charge.
