Two public fleet industry veterans were honored at the 2024 Government Fleet Expo & Conference in Louisville. The newest members of the Public Fleet Hall of Fame were recognized at the Honors Celebration on Tuesday evening.

The Public Fleet Hall of Fame is comprised of industry leaders and pioneers who have significantly contributed to the public fleet profession, as chosen by members of the industry via online voting.

The award is presented in partnership with Sourcewell.

This year’s inductees in the Public Fleet Hall of Fame are:

  • Michael Brennan - Manatee County, Florida (Ret.); Fleet Consultant, CDMB Consultants LLC
    Years in fleet: Over 44

  • Daryl Greenlee - Manatee County, Florida
    Years in fleet: 20

Unfortunately, Greenlee could not make it. Tim Coxwell, fleet management division director for the Leon County, Florida, Sheriff's Office, accepted the award on his behalf.

The full list of Hall of Fame honorees can be found here.

Additionally, John Hunt, CPFP, who was among 10 inaugural members inducted into Government Fleet magazine's Public Fleet Hall of Fame, was remembered during the Honors Celebration, after he passed away in April 2024.

John Hunt was remembered during the 2024 Honors Celebration.
