Data and analysis can provide a unique opportunity in helping police fleets improve vehicle builds and service times. But it can be tough to access the data when your agency uses an outside service department. Two law enforcement fleet professionals share ways to work through this at the 2024 Police Fleet Conference.

Police Fleet Conference (PFC) returns to the annual Government Fleet Expo & Conference in 2024 with a lineup of educational sessions hosted by your peers.

In the session titled "Upfitting Police Vehicles When You Don’t Hold All The Cards," Akbar Rahyab, fleet director for the Fairfax County, Virginia Police Department will be joined by his colleague, Jessica Rhoades, management analyst.

Data-Driven Decision-Making in Police Vehicle Upfitting

Data and analysis can provide a unique opportunity in helping police fleets improve vehicle builds and service times. But it can be tough to access the data when your agency uses an outside service department.

Rahyab and Rhoades will share about ways they use fleet data and analysis paired with a collaboration between both internal and external partners to make improvements within their own fleet, keeping officer safety and the forefront.
