Altec Recalls E-Series, DH-H Series Digger Derricks

Altec Industries (Altec) is recalling approximately 477 2016-2022 E-series & DH-H series Digger Derricks, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The relay connectors may have been reattached to the incorrect plug after a stability test was performed. If the connections are not correct, the hydraulic overload protection system will not function.

Altec will inspect and reattach the connectors, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on July 15, 2022.
