Battle Motors (formerly Crane Carrier Company (CCC)) is now selling its fully electric refuse truck, the Battle LNT EV, in Southern California through Velocity Truck Centers.
The Battle Motors LNT EV features an 82-inch cab, a customizable wheelbase, multimode regenerative braking, a direct drive transmission, peak power of 500 hp, continuous power of 310 hp, and a peak output torque of 1,700+ lbs. per foot. Trucks may be ordered at Velocity Truck Centers and other dealers.
Battle Motors acquired CCC in early 2021 to add an electric vehicle offering to CCC’s diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG) offerings.
Along with electrification, Battle Motors also brings one of the first fully digital instrument clusters and its Revolution OS to the refuse market.
Paul Marsolan, chief software officer of Battle Motors, explained that this operating system gives the trucks “an onboard computer system to pass actionable performance, parts, and service data to fleet managers, service dealers, and drivers via [the] onboard digital instrument cluster and hosted server environment.”
He added that users will find the instrument cluster similar to a smart phone. In addition, fleet managers can use it to access VIN and service history, and a QR code allows them to easily share parts data with a phone or desktop computer. All the data is passed up to Battle Motors for review and analysis and made available via API for software integration.
Battle Motors will present its Battle LNT EV with the fully digital instrument cluster at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo in Long Beach, California.

Bobit Business Media surveyed 190 fleet professionals and found that while most fleets are tracking costs, fragmented systems and data gaps are keeping true TCO visibility out of reach.
