According to a report by RoadShow, Ford will give fleet buyers a hybrid option for the 2021 Ford F-150. In addition to this, there will be a "Special Service Vehicle" option. For $50, Ford will remove the center seat, install a vinyl bench seat in the rear, and add a 240-amp alternator. While the vehicle is available with the 5.0-liter 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, the new 3.5L PowerBoost Hybrid V6 is also a selection. The twin-turbo V6 pairs with a single electric motor and a battery pack to boost efficiency and add power.

The package isn't restricted to law enforcement use.
