NAPA, CA - Howard Neu, safety, training and fleet officer for the Napa Sanitation District (NSD), retired Dec. 30, 2010 after 24 years with the District.

Neu held several positions during his employment at NSD, working as an auto equipment mechanic for 13 1/2 years, a warehouse inventory specialist for three years, and his most recent role as the safety, training and fleet officer for the last seven and a half years.

Neu was honored by the Board of Directors for his dedicated years of service to NSD and recognized for his important role in the District achieving six-years lost-time accident free.
