MEMA Names New Board Members
The Southern California chapter of the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association elected its board and said farewell to its outgoing president Paul Condran in January.

The association thanked Past President Paul Condran, who led MEMA from 2014-2018.

The Southern California chapter of the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association (MEMA) elected a new board during a quarterly meeting at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The new board includes:
President: Dan Berlenbach, fleet services bureau manager, City of Long Beach
Vice President: Katie Mishler, deputy sector navigator, advanced transportation and logistics, Cerritos College
Treasurer: Craig Crowder, fleet and central stores manager, City of Beverly Hills
Sergeant at Arms: Ed Fultz, fleet supervisor, City of Whittier
Secretary: Ivan Ortega, fleet acquisition supervisor, City of Long Beach
Membership & Association Coordinator: Dean Tedtaotao, shop superintendent, County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works
The association recognized outgoing president Paul Condran, who served in the position from 1991 to 2001, and again from 2014 and 2018. He retired from his position as fleet services and facility manager for the City of Culver City last year.
The focus of the quarterly meeting was fleet consultants, and how they can benefit fleets. Paul Lauria, Mercury Associates president, gave a keynote address, followed by a panel presentation that included former fleet managers Rick Longobart (Longobart-Ross Fleet Solutions) and Steve Saltzgiver (Mercury Associates). GPS Insight also presented at the meeting.
