Rick Longobart, facilities and fleet manager for the City of Santa Ana, Calif., earned the first 2010 Government Fleet Magazine Visionary Leadership Award for being an innovative fleet manager at the Government Fleet Expo + Conference (GFX) on June 22.
Eric Bearly, Government Fleet publisher and GFX conference organizer, presented the award to Longobart during the "Big Challenges and Big Networking" roundtable.

During the GFX conference, Longobart served as a presenter, moderator, and panelist for several sessions.
He is currently president of the Municipal Equipment Maintenance Association and was a finalist for the 2009 Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year.
