Grant Capital Management has completed funding for two new refuse trucks for the Municipal Utilities Authority in North Bergen, NJ. North Bergen took the delivery of the new Volvo trucks in August.
“The experience that we have in financing vehicles for public sector entities is second to none. Whether utilizing multiple vendors or one single vendor, whether providing $20 million in funding or $500 thousand, we can leverage our efficiencies to give every client the best experience,” Derek Mitchell, senior vice president at Grant Capital Management, said.
North Bergen put out a bid for the financing of the two new trucks to which Grant Capital Management responded. Grant Capital has previously financed fire and police vehicles as well as refuse trucks. The new Volvo refuse trucks are rear-loading.
“We decided to pursue a lease-purchase agreement with a stable and reputable lease financier and chose grant Capital Management as our partner,” Part Bartoli, CFO at the North Bergen Municipal Utilities Authority, said. “Grant Capital was able to structure a lending solution which worked within our budget and enabled us to acquire the replacement trucks in a quick and efficient manner.”
