Fleet Equipment Assistant Leads Police on Highway Chase
LODI, CA – Kevin Harr, a fleet equipment parts assistant for the city of Stockton, Calif., led Lodi police on a chase that reached up to 80 mph on Interstate 5, according to the Lodi News-Sentinel.
LODI, CA – Kevin Harr, a fleet equipment parts assistant for the city of Stockton, Calif., led Lodi police on a chase that reached up to 80 mph on Interstate 5, according to the Lodi News-Sentinel.
The pursuit began when Lodi Officer Kevin Kent recognized Harr as a suspect in a domestic violence incident from the previous afternoon. Harr allegedly failed to stop when the officer tried to pull him over.
The chase ended when Harr allegedly drove into the Stockton Police Department's parking lot and surrendered. Harr was arrested without incident. He was booked on suspicion of evading an officer. Besides the evasion charge, Harr could face spousal abuse, threats and false imprisonment charges, according to Lodi police Sgt. Bill Alexander.
