CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - A Nov. 19 auction of City of Corpus Christi, Tex., fleet units yielded $800,000 gross, according to Jim Davis, director of maintenance services for the City. The fleet auctioned approximately 250 vehicles and equipment, ranging from sedans to trucks to mowers, tractors, and heavy equipment.
The auction, which took place both on site and online, was larger than previous auctions due to a recent Mercury Associates study that recommended the fleet reduce its size, Davis said.
