MISSISSAUGA, CANADA – The city of Mississauga became the first city in Canada to install 13 new wing plow cameras on winter maintenance equipment, according to www.mississauga.ca. In an effort to raise levels of operational safety and improve on safety standards, the project to install the cameras to the city's new Freightliner vehicles was lead by the Transportation and Works Department.
Engineering and Works Director Joe Pitushka expects to have the entire fleet of 28 vehicles fitted with the cameras by the end of the year.
