Solano County in California is hiring a fleet manager to serve as a member of the department’s senior management team. The fleet manager plans and directs the fleet management program, including acquisitions, utilization, repair, and replacement of the vehicle and equipment fleet. The fleet manager also oversees the operational budget, makes policy recommendations, and supervises staff.
The candidate should have five years of experience in equipment or fleet management, two of which should be in a supervisory or management role. An Associate’s degree is required.
