Originally designed for the U.S. Government, Tuffy Security Products’ tactical lockboxes are engineered for high security and portability of firearms and valuable gear in the trunk of a patrol vehicle. The boxes are built to carry and secure a Model 870 shotgun, M-4 rifle and a complete set of body armor.

This unique system does not require a separate padlock and can be released in seconds to transfer the lock-box between vehicles or locations. A gas strut supports the company’s larger lids from reversible mounting points, enabling convenient access from either side of the lockbox. The inside bottom and sides of the box are carpet-lined to cushion contents.

Lock box fitments are offered for several vehicle models including the Chevrolet Caprice, Impala, and Malibu; Dodge Charger; and Ford Crown Victoria and Police Interceptors. Additionally, custom Heavy Duty Tactical Security Lock-Boxes can be built to the customer’s specifications, with all of the features of the standard models.
