Terradyne Armored Vehicles’ Gurkha light armored patrol vehicle (LAPV) offers ballistic protection, high performance, and reliability, according the company. It has been tested and recommended by the National Tactical Officers’ Association and is becoming more popular with police agencies around the country.
According to Terradyne, the Boulder Police Department in Colorado and Metro Washington Airports Authority Police Department recently tasked Terradyne with supplying the Gurkha LAPV for their SWAT operations.
The Gurkha armored patrol vehicle is designed for many uses, including law enforcement, border patrol, protection of critical infrastructure, and private security.
