Gamber-Johnson has announced its docking solution for the Zebra ET40/45 enterprise tablet. When used along with Gamber-Johnson’s complete line of mounting solutions, the new docking station is specially designed to work in manufacturing, warehouse management, semi-trucks, forklifts, and field mobility.

The station works for both the Zebra ET40/45 8” and 10” tablet. Combine the Zebra ET40/45 enterprise tablet with the new vehicle docking station, with dual powered USBs for added productivity. Each powered USB port provides 1.5A, strong enough to power a long-range scanner and a printer or other equipment.

The dock provides the port replication to connect the right peripheral devices to get the job done, according to a press release. It's designed close to the footprint of the computer to preserve cabin space with a composite design for reduced weight and increased durability. It features POGO pin connectors, providing power to the tablet so it will stay charged and ready to go. The camera, scanner, and all the tablet ports are functional while the computer is docked safely. If needed, the docking station can be locked in for additional theft deterrence.

There are various versions of this docking station: a bare wire and 2.5mm DC Power Jack docking station with dual USB ports to power your keyboard or other peripherals. The station weighs just 1.3 lbs.

The Zebra ET40/45 docking station will be available Fall 2022.
