September 19, 2016 - Products

The Diagnostic Thermal Imager from Snap-On uses infrared technology to make heat "visible" and reveal problems on a vehicle, such as brakes, heaters, A/C, engine performance, electrical, and bearings. Detailed thermal images are made up of 4,800 distinct temperature zones and the product's exclusive database of guided tests, automotive applications, and reference images help interpret results.

The Diagnostic Thermal Imager can reveal heat sources such as dragging brakes and misfiring cylinders and show extreme temperatures up to 840 degrees Fahrenheit. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery also offers a four-hour charge life.
