The Rook is an Armored Critical Incident Vehicle produced by Ring Power, a North and Central Florida Caterpillar dealer. It is built from a Caterpillar chassis and features rubber tracks, dual joystick controls, cameras, gun port holes, rear and front lights, an enclosed cab, and NIJ Level IV armor cab reinforcement.

Unlike traditional armored vehicles, The Rook is capable of being used in constricted areas both inside and outside of buildings to transport personnel or equipment and for surveillance. The Rook's mission-specific attachments are custom-designed to increase job safety:

  • Armored deployment platform
  • Hydraulic breaching ram
  • Vehicle extraction tool
  • Grapple claw
