Federal Signal rolled out its newest product, the DFC Series push bumpers. The components are manufactured with hot rolled pickled and oiled (HRPO) steel engineered to provide extra protection to the grille and front end.

The push bumpers are available for the following vehicles:

Easy Installation and Customization for Departments

The DFC push bumpers are quick and easy to install with no drilling required. The mounting kit and hardware are included. The side uprights are pre-drilled for installation of MicroPulse series lights for added side warning.

The DFC Series offers a center bar with dual-speaker mounting locations for ease of installation and serviceability. Optional pre-drilled lower guards allow for additional lighting using MPS6U lights. Solid, two-light, and four-light top channel options are available for further customization. Two-light and four-light top channels utilize MPS6U lights, sold separately.

Designed for Extra Protection and Strength

The push bumper is made of seven-gauge steel uprights, with two 1-1/2-in. wide rubber strips and a lower C-channel, to provide extra protection and strength. The uprights are pre-drilled for the addition of lower guards, and the center bar allows for easy mounting of speakers and additional accessories. The black, textured powdered coat on the push bumper provides added resistance against scratches and scuffs.

The lower guards are made of heavy-duty seven-gauge steel horizontal bars. DFC series lower guards are designed to bolt directly to a DFC Series push bumper for the best PIT maneuver possible.

The upper guard option offers additional protection to the front end as well as headlight protection. The upper guards are made from eleven-gauge galvanized steel that is treated with a textured powder coat for protection against rust. The upper guards bolt directly to the push bumper and lower guards, allowing for an easier installation.
