The City of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, is considering creating a car sharing program that will allow residents to rent city vehicles when they aren’t in use, Guelph Today reported.

The city will study the feasibility of the program for its 26 vehicles and 70 light-duty trucks. The goal of the program is to offset fleet operating costs by increasing utilization. The study is expected to be completed in the next few months.
