Washington City, Utah CNG Fueling Station

Washington City, Utah used U.S. Department of Energy grant money to pay for a new CNG fueling station and CNG vehicle conversions. The City has being converting vehicles in its fleet, primarily Ford pickup trucks, and expects to save $2,330 per vehicle per year on fuel costs.

2009 PHH Arval Energy Conference

More than 60 participants from approximately 40 Houston-area energy companies gathered for the PHH Arval Energy Conference, held Oct. 22 at the Houstonian Hotel in Houston. PHH has held this annual event for 17 years.

The conference is designed to bring together fleet professionals in the energy industry to address common concerns, goals, and improve the business, according to Steve DiBiagio, PHH senior vice president of business development.

2009 Green Fleet Conference

More than 350 fleet industry professionals attended the Green Fleet Conference, which offered solutions and resources to help fleet managers continue environmental initiatives in budget-challenged times, according to organizers.

Environmental initiatives "make economic sense," Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley told a crowded audience at the conference, held Oct. 19-20 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
