HIGHLAND, CA - San Bernardino Sheriff's Department recently received two new public safety vehicles from the San Manuel Band of Serrano Mission Indians, according to Highland Community News.

The vehicles, a 4-wheel drive truck to be used by Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigators and a custom built Command Operations trailer, have an estimated cost of $250,000, reported Community News.

"Citizens of San Manuel are a part of the greater community," said San Manuel Tribal Chairman James Ramos. "Our partnership with the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department allows us to contribute to the safe and secure environment for all citizens of San Bernardino County."
