DIAMOND BAR, CA – The Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) is currently offering Clean Transportation Funding for projects that reduce motor vehicle emissions. The MSRC’s sole mission is to fund projects that reduce air pollution from motor vehicles within the South Coast Air District in Southern California.

The South Coast Air District is a geographic region defined in state regulations to include all of Orange County and portions of Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties.

Proposals are sought for the following categories:

  • Local Government Match Program ($3 million): applications due Mar. 28, 2008.

  • Alternative Fuel Infrastructure ($2.5 million): applications due Mar. 28, 2008.

  • Alternative Fuel School Bus Incentives ($1.2 million): applications due Jan. 18, 2008.

  • Alternative Fuel Engines for On-Road Vehicles ($1.5 million): applications due Feb. 15, 2008.

  • Natural Gas Off-Road Cargo Handling Equipment ($1 million): applications due Feb. 15, 2008.
