NORMAN, OK - Frank Lawson, fleet management superintendent for the City of Norman, Okla., passed away on Oct. 5 at Norman Regional Hospital from a heart attack. He was 59.

Lawson was employed by the City of Norman since April 1992 in the position of fleet management superintendent in the Public Works Department. He managed 752 pieces of equipment. Prior to joining the City of Norman, Lawson worked as fleet management director for Citrus County, Fla. In addition, Lawson retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service in the automotive field. He is survived by his wife, Iris, and three children: David, Michael, and his daughter Coreena.
