HERSHEY, PA – The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA) Executive Committee has finalized plans for the upcoming fall conference. The host of this year’s conference is NCSFA’s member-at-large, Josie Sharp with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The theme will be “Sharing Information — The fuel for Success!” The conference is slated to kick-off on Sunday, Sept. 9 with NCSFA’s annual golf tournament, and the conference will conclude with NCSFA’s annual awards presentation and banquet on Sept. 14.

Part of this year’s program will focus on specifics of what the host state is doing to provide attendees with another state’s business perspective. Below are some program highlights slated for Hershey in the upcoming fall conference:

  • Les Jackson “the Car Guy” who hosts a syndicated local radio program on various automotive topics.
  • Julie Blanford, manager with Mercury Associates Inc., is slated to speak about the “Hidden costs of POV reimbursement available for fleet managers.”
  • Tom Webb with Manheim Automotive Auction Company speaking about the latest vehicle disposal methodologies.
  • Linda Bluestein with the Federal Department of Energy (DOE) speaking about the current status of EPAct and recent rule-making.
  • NCSFA’s State-focused Exhibit and Trade Show.
  • AFV Session provided by all of the OEM vehicle representatives discussing new product offerings in the industry.
  • Plus this year members will hear from many of the Commonwealth’s Bureau Secretaries to gain an insight on how Pennsylvania leaders cope with today’s management challenges.
  • NCSFA’s session called, “Problems and Solutions,” which will allow members to share solutions to the most perplexing issues facing government fleets.
