South Dakota Governor Signs Executive Order on Biodiesel

PIERRE, SD – South Dakota Gov. Mike Rounds signed an executive order promoting the use of biodiesel fuels in South Dakota, according to the Aberdeen News. The governor also directed the state Department of Transportation (DOT) to use biodiesel-blended fuel whenever possible. The state DOT operates more than 1,200 diesel-powered vehicles and uses about 1 million gallons of the fuel each year.
