LONGMONT, CO – According to the Longmont Times, members of the Longmont City Council will consider whether to pay Clean Energy $6,000 annually to subsidize the natural gas fueling station, buy it outright for $30,000, or get rid of the city's nine dedicated CNG vehicles. The city was intended to be the major customer of the station after the federal legislation mandated that Longmont and other non-attainment municipalities buy alternative-fuel vehicles to reduce air pollution.
