GAITHERSBURG, MD - Mercury Associates, Inc. recently announced several new business projects and personnel changes to its professional consulting staff. Rod Lohof, former fleet manager for the State of Oregon Department of Administrative Services and 30-year fleet industry veteran joined the firm as a senior consultant. Gary Hatfield has been appointed senior manager. He was a principal in Advanced Fleet Management Solutions of Bradenton, Fla., whose assets Mercury also has acquired. Dr. Adlore Chaudier joined Mercury as a senior manager. Most recently, he was a senior manager in the U.S. General Services Administration overseeing the re-engineering of lodging and travel expense reimbursement programs for federal agencies. Among the company´s major new project are studies and reviews for several state and overseas governments. Mercury also has partnered recently with Runzheimer International of Rochester, Wis., on several important contracts with the federal government, including three projects with the General Services Administration, two with NASA, and one with the U.S. Marine Corps.
