Fiat, Mitsubishi May Develop Mid-Size Pickup

Fiat Group Automobiles and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to possibly develop and manufacture a mid-size pickup truck supplied by Mitsubishi and based on the next generation of L200, the companies announced.

The Triton L200 is available in five models and has been in production since 1978. The pickup truck is mainly used in the United Kingdom and Japan.
