July 30, 2009

TOWNSON, MD - Three adults were killed instantly July 27 when their car collided with a street sweeper, according to WBAL.

One of the three killed in the accident was a 19-year old pregnant girl, reported Philadelphia Daily News.

The small car in which she and two other women were riding was reportedly rammed by a street-sweeping vehicle on a Maryland road near Baltimore and burst into flames, said the Daily News. Baltimore County police said all three were killed instantly.

The sweeper was part of a fleet of J&M Sweeping Services. Police said the driver had just finished a job in Towson, Md., and was returning to the garage, according to the Daily News.
